How semantic matching works
Match! generates an automatic search query from a job description or a candidate’s resume. The result of the search is a shortlist of the best candidate matches or jobs from your databases. Textkernel’s semantic job matching software also simultaneously searches online for interesting candidates on job boards, social media and other sources. With the user-friendly interface you can further extend or modify your search, so you will always get the best results.

Unstructured CVs are converted into structured and enriched data which can be matched. This takes place on the basis of Extract! CV parsing.
Information from job ads is structured by the job parser and then enriched. This parsing method for job ads is used in, among other things, Jobfeed.
Keywords are filtered from each job text and CV. These words are used to improve and validate match results.
Criteria which you or the candidate add to the profile or job can be included in the matching. Examples include job criteria such as salary, desired post, travel distance, availability, etc.
Weighting of match criteria
The matching engine comes with a well-balanced weighting for the various job criteria. As a user you can adapt this to your specific requirement yourself or with the aid of Textkernel.
The search results are also supplemented with profiles which Match! finds in external databases, including CV databases, and social media. That means you always have a relevant shortlist of candidates from all available sources.
Match! automatically brings you the best matches from your database. You can then expand or adjust your results list by means of the user-friendly interface.
