Accelerate the Match! between candidates and jobs
Need to draw up a rapid shortlist of candidates or employees from your database to fill a job? Want to keep candidates informed of relevant jobs? Match!, semantic job matching, automates and accelerates these processes. This enables you to get the most out of your database or talent pool. Match! does the preliminary work, freeing you up to do the selecting!
How semantic matching works
Match! generates an automatic search query from a job description or a candidate’s resume. The result of the search is a shortlist of the best candidate matches or jobs from your databases. Textkernel’s semantic job matching software also simultaneously searches online for interesting candidates on job boards, social media and other sources. With the user-friendly interface you can further extend or modify your search, so you will always get the best results.
Benefits of Match!
- Semantic matching directly from a resume, candidate profile or job ad
- Finding the best matches in your own databases and online in external sources
- Insight into the match and a user-friendly interface to refine or broaden the search
- Available in English, German, French and Dutch
- An unbeatable combination for marketing, lead generation and outplacement when used with Jobfeed
Job matching and candidate matching
Textkernel offers bi-directional matching: both job matching (matching jobs to candidates) and candidate matching (matching candidates to jobs).
Specifications of Match!
Match! combines comprehensive knowledge of the job market with language technology. The technology 'understands' what is written in CVs and job ads. That enables us to carry out efficient automatic searches of job vacancy texts or CVs. We can then generate results that are relevant to you without any effort on your part.
Powered by AI, Machine Learning and Semantic Technology
There are three core ingredients behind the success of Match!
- Semantic understanding of documents (CVs, job ads) and queries
- Advanced searching and matching
- HR domain knowledge
AI and Machine Learning technologies are the driving force behind this. Machine Learning enables our models to be more accurate and robust. Semantic search judges the relevance of a document based on a sophisticated model that understands what you mean rather than what you type. In addition, a domain-specific semantic layer is also needed to provide meaningful search results. Textkernel’s data-driven and extensive HR domain knowledge provides this final ingredient for state-of-the art parsing, searching and matching results.
Automatically formulating searches
Based on your profile or job description, Match! automatically makes a search and matches this to your databases and external sources.
Available in multiple languages
Match! is available in multiple languages. The list of languages in which Match! is available is being expanded constantly. We currently offer the HR application for the following languages*
* Is the language you need missing from this list? Contact us to discuss the current status of your required language.
Unstructured CVs are converted into structured and enriched data which can be matched. This takes place on the basis of Extract! CV parsing.
Information from job ads is structured by the job parser and then enriched. This parsing method for job ads is used in, among other things, Jobfeed.
Keywords are filtered from each job text and CV. These words are used to improve and validate match results.
Criteria which you or the candidate add to the profile or job can be included in the matching. Examples include job criteria such as salary, desired post, travel distance, availability, etc.
Weighting of match criteria
The matching engine comes with a well-balanced weighting for the various job criteria. As a user you can adapt this to your specific requirement yourself or with the aid of Textkernel.
The search results are also supplemented with profiles which Match! finds in external databases, including CV databases, and social media. That means you always have a relevant shortlist of candidates from all available sources.
Match! automatically brings you the best matches from your database. You can then expand or adjust your results list by means of the user-friendly interface.
