The UK job market online in Q2 2017

The UK job market saw 11.3 million postings online in the second quarter of 2017. After deduplication, this produced an overall figure of 2.5 million unique vacancies. The sector with the biggest demand was healthcare which accounted for 12.1% of total market share. It also experienced an increase of 2.1% year-on-year, underpinning the general post-Brexit drop-off in applicants to NHS roles from continental Europe.
