New version of Extract! resume parsing

Textkernel has taken an update of its CV parsing product Extract! and Sourcebox into production. The following changes and improvements have been made:

  • New: parsing of Xing xml
  • New: support for even more document types such as Excel

    Extraction of city and country for the experience and education section

  • Improved for French:
    Parsing of the recently changed Viadeo HTML
  • Improved for Chinese:
    Parsing of fixed-format documents (HTML, MHT, Email and Word) from the job sites zhaopin.com and 51job
  • Improved for all languages:
    Handling of headers and footers

New in Sourcebox

  • ‘Apply with’ widget
    Easily applying with a CV or a LinkedIn, Xing, Viadeo or Facebook profile
  • iPad and iPhone support
    The Sourcebox workflow graph is now also available in full HTML. It replaces flash in order for Sourcebox to run on iPhone and iPad.
